What a moving tribute. What a beautiful girl. What an incredible young woman.

Not goodbye, Adrienne, but "see you later."

Alison,
The video was lovely. I wanted you to know how touching it was to meet you and your daughter at San Martin. I hope as my daughter grows that we have as strong and loving a relationship as you and Adrienne had. I hope that you are able to find some peace in time, knowing that you fought hard to get the very best for your daughter.
I wish you peace, and know that she will be very missed. She was special.

Dear Alison and family,

Janna told me about Adrienne's passing. I am so, so saddened. I never, ever, thought of her as sick, so I was amazed by her history of treatments and relapses but inspired by her wonderful, active life.

The video is awesome but, perhaps because we had our 5-year old grandaughter with us today, reminded me of what could happen to our Ava. And it sickens me and scares me.

I am recommitting myself to eradicating this disease in my lifetime. No child should ever have to go through this. No one. Ever.

Fondly,
Lynn Briody

I have read about Adrienne thru your blog for the last 3 years. I have always been inspired by her courage and strength faced with most adverse situations. I pray to god for taking her under his wings and for giving her peace. May god also give you and your family strength to go thru this difficult time. Adrienne will live thru the wonderful memories all of you have of her and also in my heart.
With love

The tribute was beautiful. What a beautiful, courageous soul Adrienne was here on earth. I like to believe that after your earthly death you are just on the next stage of the journey. As Adrienne was such a great angel here on earth she must be one in heaven.

Hi Alison,
I see you have a message from Lynn Briody. She used to be a Councilwoman in Sunnyvale, so I know her. I think she still lives in Sunnyvale. If you have her e-mail address, I'll say hello to her.
Love,
Mom
