About the Same

Adrienne is still having fevers and has little appetite, but she went to work this morning. Tylenol is helping with the fevers and soup is keeping her nourished and hydrated. Please leave her a comment so she knows that we're all here, hoping she feels better soon.

Adrienne, you are my SUPERHERO, girl!! I want you to know how much I respect and admire you. You are a bit of a role model for me, and I thank you for setting such a shining example of grace, dignity and positivity. (And resilience, and strength, and fortitude, and.....I really could go on!)

I'm sorry to hear that this latest bit is craptastic, but it'll be just fine if it's craptastic and, um....WORKS! That is my prayer for you. You deserve it, Adrienne.

You're beautiful. Keep your head up.

Much love,

Sarah

Hi Adrienne!

I hope that you start feeling better soon and that this trial works for you. You already know that you are a beautiful and amazing girl and you and your family are always on my mind.

Call me if you want to talk. Oh, I saw some baby pictures the other day. How cute! =)

Love and hugs,

Karen

Adrienne, I sure hope you start feeling much better soon! You are a true warrior and a role model for anyone fighting the cancer battle! (Your mom talks about you ALL the time on the lymphoma board, so I feel like I kind of know you!)

Best wishes to you, and hope you are having a heck of a time at college!!

Dear Adrienne,

I just began my journey with Hodgkin's disease and you've been a great inspiration for me.
Whenever I feel down or angry, I think of people like you who have fought for years.

Thanks

Adrienne,

Just wanted to stop in and tell you I'm thinking of you and hope you're feeling better soon! Your mom tells us all about you and you're such an amazing young woman. As a fellow New Yorker, (because if you can ride the subway, you are one now!) enjoy your time in the city! Have a knish for me when you're feeling better!

I am at a little bit of a lose at what to say, as I am emerging from a transplant I understand more than most the path you have had to walk to this point but alas only a tiny piece of what is your whole crucible. I am in amazement of the inner light, pose, and strength you most possess and in awe of beautiful nature that most temper your soul.

I, like some many others, am heartbroken to hear about your journey and my I echo Sarah in saying that I hope this new regimen offers you some solace and a reperve from the storm.

On Sunday the 22 I'll be riding a charity ride outside of Breckenridge, CO to raise money for the transplant wing at Denver's Children's Hospital and I want you to know that I'll take you along in spirit as inspiration when the climbing in the thin Rocky Mountain becomes taxing.

Keep you head up and know that it is not all in vain,
Darrel

Adrienne,

I just wanted to let you know how much I am in awe of you. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's in March and haven't worked or been to uni since I started treatment but you still manage to carry on with your life - you're amazing! I hope you feel better soon.

Hey Adrienne,

I'm sorry you've been sick, and I hope you feel better SOON. Maybe the drug will work quickly, and you won't have to be on it for long. You're in our prayers! Have a good weekend.

Dearest Adrienne,

I am so sorry to hear about your recent obstacles that we all know you will overcome with your amazingly huge heart and beautiful resilience. You shine through your mothers words as she speaks of you SO much.

And, as one young woman to another, I am in awe of your lovely spirit and mature outlook at life.

You are in all of our thoughts -- more than you know. I hope those NY city lights are keeping you smilin' as much as possible.

We're all rooting for you.

Tons of Love,

Bekah

Adrienne,

Maybe you're tired of hearing it, but you are an inspiration to those of us who know the Hodge all too well.

I hope the fevers and side effects pass quickly, and that the meds do their job where they're needed. I really hope that you'll be back to enjoying NY and Columbia in no time. Lay low for a bit and you'll be bouncing back in no time.

good thoughts your way,
Kate in MN
