Adrienne was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease in 1996 at age 9. She had multiple relapses, two bone marrow transplants, and a range of chemos and radiation therapies, and passed away on October 1, 2009. We are heartbroken.

Any thing off your plate right now seems like a blessing. How awful to have to fight for this coverage. Thinking of you in this New Year . . .

Glad the insurance issue has been washed down the drain! Hope the tummy ache doesn't continue for long, Adrienne. Thinking of you often.

At work, they're collecting money for St. Judes. As an incentive for people to donate, someone wrote a sign that asked "Did you know one chemo treatment costs $700?"
I shook my head and thought that if they only knew that $700 is pocket change compared to what some treatments costs!
I'm glad that you're over the insurance hurdle and hope Adrienne is feeling better very soon.

Adrienne, you are an inspiration.
I'm sooooo glad it got approved! Hang in there Adrienne!
