Schedule In Place

Adrienne saw the doctor today and getting into the trial turns out to be very easy. She'll have a PET scan tomorrow (Thursday) and CT the following day as the drug company wants both. Labs will be drawn tomorrow before the PET and that's it. We're going to be in the Bay Area next week so she'll start the MGCD-0103 on June 2 and the Vidaza on June 16. There will lots of clinic visits, exams, and blood draws in between but at least things are in motion. We should have scan results Friday or Tuesday but we aren't expecting significant progression based on her labs and symptoms. Keep your fingers and toes crossed please.

I've gotten good at crossing everything and still being able to function...it shall be done again for Adrienne. Hope the test rests are like you are expecting...and no surprises. Thinking or you both often.

It sounds like there is a great plan in place! We loved MGCD, and I hope it works for Adrienne. Dr. Younes told Mike that there are "beautiful" options coming out soon if this trial doesn't work for him. Options are always good:) Have a great weekend!

Adrienne,
You are a amazing young woman!
My son has been fighting Hodgkins since 2005 since he was 16 and he'll be 19 in July. He has also had various treaments Chemo, radiation, an auto stem cell transplant and an allo stem cell which he is now 59 days out. You are quite the inspiration!
