Daniel's 21st was yesterday. We all had dinner together and then he went out with his friends to celebrate his birthday. Here he is the day after...with barf bucket at the ready. It doesn't look like he's used it yet. He's not normally much of a drinker but, well, it's his 21st.
Adrienne is about the same. She thinks the pain might be just a little less sharp but her coughing/shortness of breath seems a little worse to me. The procarbazine is easy so far and we found the etoposide so she'll start that on Friday. As always, we remain hopeful that this regimen treats her well and that it does its job.

Glad Daniel had a good birthday - hope the after-effects aren't too hard on him!

From the pic it looks like Daniel "missed" the bucket at least one time! The first time we met Kyle was on Katie's 21st b'day. I knew he was a keeper when he sat in her bedroom with her while she layed on her floor with her head in a bowl..and he kept cleaning out the bowl for her to reuse...all this while they missed the houseful of her friends here for dinner to celebrate her b'day!
Glad the new treatment is underway...hope it treats A well and does it's job. ((HUGS)) as always.

Hey there, I hope Daniel's up off the couch. Oh my most of us have been there done that at least a time or two in our hayday. Happy Birthday young man!
Adrienne I hope the new plan of attack will give you some relief soon. Jake and I are in NY. I'm trying to talk him into seeing Wcked, not having much luck.
Might have to go by myself.
