Sitting up

Adrienne is actually doing a bit better this afternoon. She's been on BIPAP most of the day but her sats and respiration are stable. They added a nice dose of dexamethazone and 3 new antibiotics. Hopefully one or all of.these helps the fever and the infiltrate.

Alison...glad we got to talk on the phone a while this afternoon. Really happy to hear that Adrienne is still on BIPAP and didn't need to be intubated. Hope the steroid and new antibiotics are the right mix to treat the infection in her lungs.
Thanks for taking the time to update us on your Blackberry.

Linda and Bob (Jenny's Dad send their best wishes to you both).

Hi Alison / Adrienne,

This is a more encouraging post! What progress to be able to sit up - hoping this is the start of better days.

Alison, I can't imagine how long and stress-filled these days are. You are doing an awesome job of loving and advocating for Adrienne AND keeping all of us updated too. Remember to eat and sleep!

Fingers crossed that Adrienne continues to hold her own while the drugs do their job.

Love K
