Back on BiPAP

Adrienne has been more short of breath as the day goes on so she's back on the BiPAP machine. We're going to try 4 hours on and 1 hour off. The CT shows a lot more infiltrate throughout both lungs. The next step will be intubation.

Girls - I can't imagine how hard this roller coaster ride must be. Just know you have so many people rooting for you, praying for you and sending you nothing but the most positive healing vibes.

What can be done to drain the infiltration? Will intubation help? I'm praying for you and Adrienne. Love, Marsha

Thinking of you, and I hope you feel the power of all these people wanting to send strength to you. This is scary stuff, but you can do it.

Sorry that there were a couple of steps backwards today for Adrienne. I know she'd rather not be intubated...but if she does...hope it helps her out and makes her breathing easier. Waiting to hear some better news from Nevada!

Allison,

Sorry to hear about the latest setback, you're on such a horrible rollercoaster right now... Sounds like she's in very capable hands though so hopefully that's comforting. Looking forward to some good news soon.

Take care,

Chris

Dearest Adrienne,

You are one very amazing young lady. Even when life has thrown you lemons, you have made lemonade. Defying the odds, graduating from high school, graduating from college, living away from home for school, going on trips.... And despite bushels of lemons, you have kept making that lemonade.

I doubt you realize how much others look up to you Adrienne. They see you as a warrior who cannot be defeated. They see a kind-hearted young lady. But watch out, this young lady packs a mean punch when it comes to her disease.

Don't you give up. You ARE going to beat this latest battle. You ARE going to get back home to your family. You ARE going to make a huge pitcher of lemonade when you get home.
