COUNTS!!!

Adrienne has counts today. ANC is over 1000!!!! Even her hemoglobin went up. Platelets went down but she didn't need a transfusion this am. Blood gasses are improved. Billi is down to 1.8 and she's tolerating the tube feedings again. Even her heart rate is down. So, I'm hopeful that she'll get chemo soon, not today, but soon. She's having a really tough time adjusting to the trach and it would be good for her to be more comfortable first.

What great news. She's a fighter and everyone who reads this is in awe of you both. I can't imagine what it is like going through what you are going through but I'd want someone like you on my side. It's been a privilege to know you on here and also on the lymphoma blog. All our love,

I have goosebumps reading this. I am glad you finally have some good news. I first read your post about Robin and then read this and I think you don't need negative people like Robin in your life right now. Reading your blog I know you have Adriennes best intrest at heart. You are an incredible advocate for Adrienne and an incredible Mom. Don't let peoples negative comments get in the way. You know your daughter better than anyone and know what is right for her. My heart goes out to you both and sending lots and lots of positive thoughts that Adrienne gets well!!
Stay strong

Hi Alison - I'm Chris Carr's mom, you met him in Miami and had dinner together. He turned me onto yours and Adrienne's blog and it's been non-stop reading for me ever since. In my mind, you and your beautiful daughter are two of the most brave & inspirational people I have ever heard of. I feel your emotional ups and downs and think you are handling everything just perfectly. I'm cheering for the good news you wrote about today and I cry with you in my heart when I read about bad news. I'm praying that every new day brings more good news and that the chemo will happen very soon. Please know that you are and will always be in my thoughts and prayers. My day now starts with seeing if Chris blogged last nite and then going right to Adrienne's site to read your heart wrenching words. I just hope God blesses me with the strength and courage you have in you. You are one hell of a woman Alison, and someone I admire and have the utmost respect for. I pray for Adrienne's continuing good progress and for some relief for your breaking heart.

Respectfully, Cindy Miramonti

dear adrienne & alison! glad the a-team has some good news today. fingers crossed that you'll be able to muscle through some chemo soon and kick that disease in the butt. and alison, i hear you about the writing. it's always been a life saver for me -- organizing thoughts. a catharsis. a way to keep track of the past and project the future. and for what it's worth an incredibly generous way of keeping us updated about how you and adrienne are coping! best luck for chemo. love and prayers as always, `ryan patrick sutton

Great News!! Adrienne is fighting strong!! Personally I am a big fan of all those "Rocky" movies, corny I know but there is a lot to be said for having heart. Adrienne has the will of a champion. You have every reason to be extremely proud. I hope the good news keeps coming steadily.
Love to you both

Dear Adrienne,

As I go to sleep tonight, I'll be counting white blood cells instead of sheep.
